Pixual Orientation

Good news for those of you who can’t seem to figure out your pixual orientation.   We’re adding an option that will really TURN you on.

You’ll have the ability to rotate images after you have them in the Shows4Pros playlist.  90% of the time your images should be passing the correct information to the application, but we’ve found that the import process that some people follow can sometimes lose the correct information and landscape images show up portrait and vice versa.   This will allow you to correct them on the fly.

Dude, we rock.

Busy Busy Busy…

We’re still jammin’ in the beat laboratory, and finding time to test Shows4Pros on iOS5.   So far so good.

Put the final touches on Shows4Pros v2.0

Your wishes were our commands and we delivered:

This all coming together in the product for your iPad and iPhone that allows you to create your own photo presentations.   Unlike the built in slideshow from Apple, Shows4Pros allows you to select from multiple albums, add/delete photos from the slideshows, and arrange the order.

Version 2 Being Tested

We are hoping to bring Shows4Pros v2 out in the next 2 weeks.  Currently undergoing to tests and we love what we see with the optimization of photos (better memory management) and the TV Out feature.

Shows4Pros v1.2 is now available for download but we’re already working on version 2.0 for release in a few weeks.   It will be a FREE upgrade to those of you who purchase it soon or already have Shows4Pros, but for users purchasing post release we’ll be charging a little more for the new version.

Good News and GOOD News

Construction Complete

Time to toot our own horn.  An “enhancement opportunity” was reported Wed at 9:31am and we responded in 3 minutes, tested and diagnosed in 50 minutes, and had a fix by noon.  Submitted to Apple with a note to expedite and WHAM v1.2.  That was actually fun.  Special thanks to Apple for expediting.   From post to iTunes store in less than 48 hours is a new record.

Good News and Bad News

The GOOD news is that Shows4Pros v1.1 was approved by Apple this week, and fixed a rotate issue in the iPhone version.  The BAD news is that the new version “affects the iPad version adversely”.  We’ve pulled it temporarily to keep current users from upgrading accidentally, and luckily iOS 4.2 (soon) will resolve the issue.

UPDATE 1:  Also submitted v1.2 to fix in earlier iOS.  Rock on.

UPDATE 2: Apple set a new record approving the update.  Should be in store this afternoon 11/19.

Thanks to everyone who has posted a review in the iTunes Store (especially since they are all favorable).   Keep in mind favorable reviews help YOU as well.

FAVORABLE reviews turn into more sales which in turn allows us to spend more time and money developing enhancements to the application.  NEGATIVE reviews obviously can affect us inversely.

Keep them coming. At least the good ones. Anything else, just see us in SUPPORT.

State of the Union, err…. App

It’s only been a few days, but Shows4Pros has had some excellent response.   We’re ranking high in the United States, but have also been drawing good rankings in Malaysia, Italy, Mexico, France, Canada, Australia, Uganda, Thailand, and Norway.  (We sell “around the world and go port to port”)

Have also had some excellent questions and suggestions and we will be posting them here at the site and might even let you rank them for priority (then we can decide if we agree with you or not).

Stay tuned folks, no matter what it’s going to be fun.
